At TCU, Carpenter continued to excel in baseball, becoming one of the program’s top offensive players. Professional Career and Rise with the St. Louis Cardinals

Following his college tenure, Carpenter began his professional career in 2009 with minor league teams including the Batavia Muckdogs, Quad Cities River Bandits, and Palm Beach Cardinals. His consistent performance in the minors caught the attention of the St. Louis Cardinals, with whom he made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut in 2011.

Carpenter quickly established himself as a versatile and dependable player, capable of handling multiple positions in the field. He played over 100 games during multiple MLB seasons, contributing both offensively and defensively. Throughout his time with the Cardinals, Carpenter helped the team reach the postseason on several occasions and earned multiple individual honors, including three All-Star selections and a Silver Slugger Award.
