Matthew Knight is a Canadian actor born on February 16, 1994. He hails from a creative family based in Mount Albert, Ontario. His older siblings, Jack and Tatum Knight, also pursued careers in acting, making the performing arts a shared passion in the Knight household. Matthew attended a school with a specialized arts program, which helped nurture his early interest in performance.

Acting Debut and Early Roles

Knight began his acting career at the age of six, debuting in 2002 with a guest appearance on the television series Queer as Folk, where he portrayed the character Peter. He secured his first leading role in 2003, playing Will Burton in the television film Big Spender. That same year, he also appeared in an episode of 1-800-Missing, and in 2004, he played Harry in the short film Peep.

Matthew's career gained momentum in 2005 when he appeared in the feature films Cheaper by the Dozen 2 and The Greatest Game Ever Played. His growing talent and screen presence led to a pivotal year in 2006, during which he played a werewolf in the horror-action film Skinwalkers and landed the prominent role of Jake Kimble in the horror sequel The Grudge 2.
