Michael Fishman is known as an American actor, writer, and producer. He is best known for playing D.J. Conner on the long-running comedy sitcom series Roseanne and its spin off show, The Conners.

Michael Aaron Fishman was born on October 22, 1981 in Los Angeles, California. He grew up in the beach town neighborhood of Long Beach. He was the middle child of three kids. His older sister is Robyn Fishman and his younger brother is Matthew Fishman. His father, Nelson was a gem dealer, and his mom, Darlene, worked as a medical attendant and junior college teacher.

Michael was accepted into college to study the field of veterinary medicine yet he instead sought after a career in baseball. He worked as woodworker while raising his younger brother, Matthew.

Career

His acting career began with the famous sitcom Roseanne which was broadcasted between 1988-1997 during its first run. Fishman wound up being known by audiences for his timing and impersonations. His acting skills made him a staple on talk show appearances like The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Besides the popular Roseanne job, Michael's other credits include: Seinfeld (1989) and Walker, Texas Ranger starring Chuck Norris. Today, he continues to take on serious and comedic roles.
