Minkah Fitzpatrick was born on November 17, 1996 in Old Bridge Township, New Jersey. His family relocated to Old Bridge Township, New Jersey when he was 5 years old. He was educated at St. Subside's Preparatory School, a Catholic all-male school located in Jersey City around 35 miles from his home. When it came down to choosing a college to play football, he made a promise to the University of Alabama in April 2014.
Preceding going professional, Fitzpatrick had a highly renowned college career with the Alabama Crimson Tide football crew of the University of Alabama. Initially slotted by Alabama in the safety position, the skilled youth increased his notoriety for being a player who can play all over the place.
