She has two siblings, an older brother named Michael McNearney, Jr. and a younger sister named Kelly McNearney Her full name is Molly O'Brien McNearney and she began her career as a writer and producer for the late-night comedy show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" in 2003. She eventually married Jimmy Kimmel after dating for three years and being engaged for 10 months.
The couple was wed on July 13, 2013 and they have two children. McNearney's son Billy was born with a heart condition that required him to have at least three open-heart surgeries to save his life. One of which took place immediately after his birth. McNearney is also known for her work on the television special "Big Night of Stars" in 2008 and the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards.
