Mungo Wentworth MacCallum biography

Mungo Wentworth MacCallum was born on December 21 in 1941 in Australia. He is mostly know for his work as a journalist and commentator. His father was Mungo Ballardie MacCallum, and he was also a journalist and one of the pioneers in the field in Australia. His mother Diana Wentworth was  the descendant of a former Australian explorer. He was educated in the elite school of Cranbrook School, close to where he grew up. He went on to college, attending the University of Sydney and getting a Bachelor of Arts degree. He is well known for his writings being strong center left in political orientation and being very critical in both the conservative liberal and national parties. He has written several books dealing with the Australian elections and an autobiography book about his views and stories on the political scene in Australia. He currently has residence in Ocean Shores on the north coast of New South Wales.
