Myles Richard Bass, professionally known as Myles Kennedy, was born on November 27, 1969, in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. After the death of his father, Richard Bass, during Kennedy's early childhood, his mother later remarried a man with the surname Kennedy. Myles adopted the Kennedy name following the marriage. He was raised in Spokane, Washington, where he moved at a young age.
