Naveen Andrews is known as a British actor. He is well known for various roles but he is famous for playing Sayid Jarrah in the fan favorite TV series called Lost. He was also Kip Singh in the film The English Patient and Sanjay in the 2002 remake of Rollerball.

Naveen William Sidney Andrews was born in London on January 17, 1969. His folks were both Indian migrants from Kerala, India. Naveen is the senior of two siblings, and has had an enthusiasm for acting since an early age. At the age of five, an instructor informed Naveen's folks that he had communicated enthusiasm for being an actor.
In secondary school, he tried out for the school play and was accepted at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Two of his classmates were future famous actors, Ewan McGregor and David Thewlis.
Career
His acting studies paid off when he won a job in Hanif Kureshi's film, London Kills Me (1991). He is known to cinema audiences for his job as that 'Sikh guy' in The English Patient (1996) and as Sayid in the mainstream TV series Lost (2004). He spent his time between homes in Los Angeles and Hawaii, where Lost (2004) was taped.
