Nick Vallelonga

Nick Vallelonga is known as an American actor, screenwriter, and film director. He is most famous for co-writing and producing the film Green Book, for which he won two Academy Awards at the Oscars ceremony.

Background

Nick Vallelonga built up his artistic dreams at an early age. At twelve years of age he showed up in the wedding scenes of a classic mafia crime film called The Godfather. It was here that his affection for filmmaking was conceived. He examined acting in New York with profoundly acclaimed instructors like Tom Brennan of Circle in the Square, William Hickey of HB Studios and Julie Bovasso of the Actors Studio.

Career

To get his career off to a start, he showed up in numerous off-Broadway stage plays and also had little acting jobs in movies and TV. During this time, Nick additionally worked running the monitor and editing programs at CBS News for some of their flagship news shows including CBS This Morning, The NFL Today, and The CBS Evening News with Dan Rather.

His first piece of creative content, "Deadfall", co-written with director Christopher Coppola, was made into a feature movie featuring Nicolas Cage, Michael Biehn, James Coburn, Charlie Sheen, Peter Fonda, Talia Shire, Angus Scrimm, Clarence Williams III and Micky Dolenz.
