Nick Youngquest was born on the 28th of July, 1983 in Sydney which is located in New South Wales, Australia. Nick grew up with an interest in sports from the time he was a very young boy and played numerous sports in high school growing up. Nick's athletic abilities earned him recolonization during his high school years and he soon found himself in college. Years of hard work and natural talent helped Nick eventually make it onto the Australian National Rugby Team which successfully launched his career as a professional athlete. His professional rugby career took off in 2003 when he was drafted by the Cronulla Sharks. The Cronulla Sharks signed him on under a one year contract after witnessing the immense talent that Youngquest was gifted with.
As soon as the year long contract was expired, Nick was immediately recruited by the St. George-Illawarra Dragons who recognized his raw talent early. Youngquest’s career, while it was highly successful, does highlight his inability to establish any lengthy relationships with any teams but this never stopped him from leading a prosperous career. His rugby history reveals that throughout his playing career, Nick has never been able to make a long-term commitment to any one particular team. After a year with the St. George-Illawarra Dragons, Nick again moved on to a new team but this time to the Penrith Panthers. Nick joined the Penrith Panthers in 2006, once again under a one year contract. By 2007, Youngquest was offered a chance to play for Wests Tigers. Youngquest was ecstatic at the opportunity but he could not pass the requirements to get into the NRL Squad.
After being turned down by the NRL Squad, Youngquest was devastated and was forced to settle for joining a different team. He ultimately decided to join the Canterbury Bulldogs in 2008. The timing worked in Youngquest's favor and he was accepted into the team in place of Cameron Phelps who had just recently left the team. By this time, Youngquest was no longer a young rookie with a blazing fire inside. Despite his illustrious, if not sporadic career, Youngquest's performance couldn't exceed expectations in any of the six seasons of the national rugby league. Demand soon waned as Youngquest's performance on the field continued to degrade along with his demand. Youngquest wasn't ready to give up yet and took the next offer that came along which happened to be playing in the French Rugby league with the Pia Donkeys.
By the end of 2009, Nick had established a name for himself and had worked his way back up to a role on a prominent team and had reestablished himself as a public figure in the sport of rugby. Shortly after, he joined the team Gateshead Thunder where he played all the way to the English Championship where he played his heart out. Youngquest's performance in the English Championship caught the eye of Brian Noble who was currently the coach of Crusaders RL. Noble was so impressed by Youngquest's skills in the game that he offered Nick a contract with the Crusaders. Youngquest accepted the offer and signed the contract in 2010 reaffirming himself as one of the sports most popular players.
