Nicole began her broadcasting career in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where she worked as a field reporter for a local news station. Seeking broader opportunities, she later moved to Missouri to continue working in news before ultimately returning to her home state of Wisconsin. Her career trajectory reflects a deep passion for journalism and a steady climb through increasingly prominent markets.

Fox 6 Milwaukee: Wake Up and Real Milwaukee

Nicole joined WITI-TV Fox 6 in Milwaukee in September 2004, becoming a key part of the morning news program Wake Up. Despite admitting she's not naturally a morning person, she quickly adapted to the schedule and became a familiar face to viewers across southeastern Wisconsin. Starting out by delivering traffic updates, Nicole’s on-air talent and commitment led to a promotion as weekend anchor.

In addition to Wake Up, Nicole appeared on Fox 6’s lifestyle show, Real Milwaukee, which airs weekdays at 9 a.m., following the morning news. Her engaging and personable style made her a favorite among viewers. She worked alongside well-known co-anchors Kim Murphy, Rob Haswell, Angelica Duria, and Jessob Reisbeck, contributing to the team’s strong on-air chemistry and regional popularity.
