Norma Gibson is the ex-wife of actor and singer Tyrese Gibson. Tyrese Gibson is an R&B singer, songwriter, actor, author, television producer and model. Tyrese is well known for his portrayal of Roman Pearce in the The Fast and Furious movie franchise. It has been recently reported that Norma Gibson is not working at becoming self-sufficient; something that was legally mandated for her to accomplish in the court ordered child support deal that she has with Tyrese. When Norma was asked during a deposition by Tyrese Gibson’s lawyers what she was doing that would require twenty five dollar an hour childcare payments (to be reimbursed by Tyrese) Norma stated she was busy “living life”. Tyrese wants Norma to provide receipts for the twenty five dollar an hour in childcare costs since she has proven she isn't working and shouldn't need child care in the first place.

According to court documents, a judge ruled that Norma Gibson can’t expect Tyrese to cover childcare costs for their 11-year-daughter Shayla if Norma is running “non-work errands” or running her household. Tyrese is reportedly having money struggles but perhaps those will soon be dissipated as Universal will start filming Fast & Furious 9 next year, with a 2020 release date in place, with Fast & Furious 10 slated to close out the flagship franchise in 2021.
