Omari Hardwick

Omari Hardwick was born on the 9th of January, 1974. He was the son of Joyce Hardwick and Clifford Hardwick IV, an attorney. The American actor was born in the city of Georgia, located in the United States of America. He is a sportsman and poet, as he was a good sportsman and regularly wrote poems in his spare time. He is, however, most popularly known for his roles in movies and TV shows.

Education

Omari Hardwick is an American actor who grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. He attended Marist High School in Atlanta and was very good at football, basketball, and baseball. He was subsequently given a football scholarship to the University of Georgia. Despite his success in sports, he dedicated time to poetry and acting and had a minor in theatre.

Career

After graduating from the University of Georgia, Omari Hardwick was not selected in the NFL draft. He tried out for the San Diego Chargers roster, but to pay for acting classes, he had to take on odd jobs. At one point, he even resorted to sleeping in his car. In 2004, he got his big break when he was cast in the TV show Sucker Free City. He then appeared in The Guardian and was given a recurring role in the TV show Saved. In 2003 and 2004, he participated in the National Poetry Slam and won an award. He also founded the Plan B Inc Theater Group and Actor's Lounge, as well as Bravelife Films, and was featured in Prominence Magazine.

He received critical acclaim for his 2011 movie I Will Follow, in which he played Troy. He also guest starred as Chris Novak on NBC's Chase, playing a prison-bound hard luck criminal. He has since appeared in many movies, including Shot Caller, Chapter & Verse, Bolden, Lap Dance, Reach Me, A Christmas Blessing, The Last Letter, Things Never Said, and Lu. Other films include Kings & Beggars, Middle of Nowhere, Sparkle, For Colored Girls, The A-Team, Kick Ass, Everyday Black Man, Next Day Air, Linewatch, Miracle at St. Anna, SIS, Gridiron Gang, Speechless, Beauty Stop, Sucker Free City, The Male Groupie, Within the Wall, and Circles.

He has also appeared in many TV shows, such as Power, Being Mary Jane, Breakout Kings, Chase, Lie to Me, Dark Blue, CSI Miami, Saved, and Crossing Jordan. He currently stars in the Starz TV show Power, in which he plays the character James "Ghost" St. Patrick.

Omari Hardwick got married to his wife, Jenniffer Pfautch, in 2012. He and his wife are blessed with two children. Omari Hardwick is 5 feet 10 inches tall and is estimated to have a net worth of about $1.5 million.
