Omarosa Manigault

Omarosa Manigault was born in the year of 1974 and is primarily known as a controversial reality show show star of the American TV show The Apprentice. In her first season appearance, she developed into a cut throat businesswoman that fed off on creating controversy and drama. The current United States president Donald Trump was the host of the first broadcast season of The Apprentice. After the show wrapped up, Omarosa returned to a spin off the Apprentice which was called Celebrity Apprentice. In both shows, she build up a reputation as a hard nosed female who wouldn’t back down. She was popular enough to be brought back on for the All Stars Edition. TV Guide even included her on the list of the 60 Nastiest Villains for all the time. She is currently now the teacher of an Executive Education Program for the Howard University of School of Business. She assists and develops students to be able to finish the Executive MBA program of Howard University. She has also become a regular political commentator for the American news station, CNN.

A background story on Omarosa states that she was born in the city of Youngstown which is located in Ohio. Her mother’s name is Theresa Marie Manigault. Theresa was the daughter of Walker and Jack Thomas Manigault. Omarosa’s father was tragically murdered when she was only the tender young age of seven years old. Omarosa also had another tragic incident happen to her family in 2011. Her older brother named Jack Thomas Manigault Junior was murdered in that year. She also has an older half-brother from her mother’s side and she has older sister named Gladys Louise Manigault. Omarosa graduated from the Rayen School of Youngstown. She then went on to college and she got a bachelor degree of Broadcasting Journalism at Central State University at the Wilberforce Ohio. After finishing her education in college, she moved and went to live in Washington DC. She decided to continue her secondary education by attending the famous African American college which was called Howard University. At Howard, she was able to obtain a master’s degree before finishing with a PHD in the communications field. 

During the presidential office tenure of the Clinton Administration, Omarosa was working in the office of the then Vice President Al Gore where she was employed as a scheduling correspondent. However, she had always felt entitled and above her actual role. She self-anointed herself and gave herself the role of being Deputy Associate Director of Presidential Personnel. She would always claim that position in her interviews and public statements. According to the popular magazine tabloid People, she had to be transferred from her position because she was notorious for her disruptive behavior and bad attitude.

In 2009, Omarosa turned to religion and got enrolled to the United Theological Seminary in the state of Ohio. At the institution, she completed work to receive her Doctor of Ministry Degree. In 2011, Omarosa received a preacher’s license. The license was issued by her church which was located in Los Angeles, CA. She was proud to represent the Weller Missionary Baptist Church. In 2012, Omarosa became an ordained preacher. In the same year, she started her course work in order to finish a degree for Payne Theological Seminary.

From a biography on her life, the hot headed Omarosa Manigault was first noticed nationally when she became one of the participants for the NBC reality show called The Apprentice. The new show was being hosted by the business owner and current US president Donald Trump. During the show’s filming, Omarosa would use underhanded tactics, manipulation, and controversial behavior to try to win the contest. The audience reacted to her and she became a household name. She was known as the woman that Americans loved to hate. The popular E! Television network named Omarosa as TV’s number one bad girl. Omarosa did not agree with the villain label she was given but she does call herself a smart and shrewd businesswoman.

The biggest incident on the show that involved Omarosa was when she accused another contestant of racism. The contestant named Ereka had uttered a common phrase saying “the pot calling the kettle black”. Omarosa took offense to the perceived racist comment and told Ereka to try to contain her prejudice after rhetorically asking her if she was intimidated by black women. The two eventually mended their differences on the popular daytime television show with all female panel called the View. In the end, Omarosa was the biggest benefactor of the incident and all the other drama on the show. The press came onto Omarosa and made her a celebrity star over night. This is where Omarosa developed her skill of creating controversy and drama to gain ratings.
