Paige Turco is an American actress who is perhaps best known for her portrayal of April O’Neil in Teenage Mutant Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. Jean Paige Turco was born on May 17, 1965, in Springfield, Massachusetts. Paige took ballet lessons as a young girl and performed as a soloist at the New England Dance Conservatory, the Amherst Ballet Theatre Company, and the Massachusetts Ballet Company; an ankle injury cut short her career. Paige attended Bay Path College and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in drama. Paige made her acting debut in 1987 on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light. In addition to her work on Teenage Mutant Turtles, Paige’s film credits include Dead Funny (1994), Vibrations (1996), Claire Makes it Big (1999), Dead Dog (2001), Invincible (2006), and The Stepfather (2009). Paige Turco has worked in television on such popular shows as The Good Wife (2010), Blue Bloods (2011), NCIS (2014), Person of Interest (2011-2016).
Paige Turco married the Irish actor Jason O’Mara in 2003. The couple has one child together, whom they named David in honor of Paige’s father. In June of 2017, the couple announced their separation and has since filed for divorce.
