Pak Se-Ri

Pak Se-Ri was born on September 28, 1977, in South Korea. She is of South Korean and Chinese descent. The names of her parents are Joon Chul Pak and Joon Chul Pak. Her parents have been married for a long time. Since her early childhood she spent growing in South Korea, Pak Se-Ri was an avid fan of one of the most elegant sports in the world, golf.

Pak Se-Ri finished her elementary level education in her hometown of Daejeon, South Korea. After her elementary education, Pak Se-Ri enrolled in a high school also in Daejeon. At her school, she was very shy, but she was an excellent student. In her PE classes, she often didn't participate in any sport and was mocked by classmates that she would never be able to do any sport.

Pak had many role models from the South Korean world of golf such as Choi Ho-sung, Choi Kyung-Ju also known as K. J. Choi, Hur Suk-ho, Jang Ik-jae, and Kang Wook-sun. Pak Se-Ri would spend days watching golf tournaments on the South Korean sport TV stations as MBC Sports+, KBS N Sports, SBS Sports, and Spotv+.

Her mother and her father were proud to see their shy daughter being interested in any sport. They initially thought that their daughter would never be particularly interested in any sport but everything changed after Pak Se-Ri was introduced to the world of golf through sports TV stations.

Her father introduced her for real to the world of golf when Pak Se-Ri was 14 years old. She soon took up the golf sport seriously after realizing how skilled she was.

Pak Se-Ri doesn't much of her personal life to the public. She currently doesn't have a husband or children. It is unknown if she is currently dating anyone.

Career and Net Worth

Pak Se-Ri participated in a local golf club in South Korea to build up her experience. In South Korea, at the beginning of her golf career, she won over 30 golf tournaments. Pak Se-Ri became a golf professional in 1996 and moved from South Korea to a whole new world in the USA. In the USA, her golf trainer David Leadbetter.

Pak Se-Ri joined the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) in 1997. One year after joining the LPGA, she participated in the LPGA's golf season of 1998 in nine events. She couldn't reach up to a higher place than the 11th position on the leaderboard. Her position on the LPGA leaderboard changed after she participated in McDonald's LPGA Championship and got herself into the first position of the leaderboard. She created history with that win as the youngest golfer to win the Championship and also as the second-youngest female golfer to win a women's golf championship. Pak Se-Ri won over 30 LPGA titles in her successful career.
