Pam Byse and Morris Chestnut tied the knot in 1995 and were known to be together for years before they finally committed to each other. There were rumors that the couple was close to divorce for various reasons. Some claimed that Chestnut had a son from a previous relationship and is a deadbeat dad, while others accused him of cheating on his wife. Byse is the mother of two children. She gave birth to their first child, a son named Grant Chestnut in 1997. The next year, she had a daughter named Paige Chestnut in 1998. Her daughter, Paige completed her high school education from Calabasas High School in California. And her son, Grant became a student at the University of Colorado.

I think a lot of the times what happens is people get so engrossed in the industry and the industry is their life and their friends. Everything is the industry. A lot of times people come in the industry and they’re either up one minute then they’re down one minute. That type of instability on a number of levels is difficult for everyone. Every marriage is going to unstable at times because you have to go through everything with someone. I’ve dealt with instabilities (ups and downs) in my career but it’s never been my life. It’s just been an aspect of my life.”
