Family and Personal Life

Pat Collins has two children: a daughter, Elizabeth, who works as a studio executive at Paramount Pictures, and a son, Andrew, who is a partner in a music production company. In 1994, Pat married William Sarnoff. She was previously married to composer Joseph G. Raposo, known for his work on Sesame Street. Their marriage lasted until Raposo’s death from non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, just three days before his 52nd birthday. Together, they had two children, and Raposo also had two sons from a previous marriage.

Following her first husband's passing, Collins spent five years as a widow. In interviews, she expressed deep grief and believed she would never remarry, envisioning that if she did wed again, it would be a companionate marriage later in life.
