Born in 1954 in Helena situated in Montana, very less information is available about Patricia Belcher’s mother and father. Information regarding her siblings is also unavailable, but it is said that she has an African American descent and is multiracial ethnicity. Her promising career started when she was cast for the movie Flatliners in 1990 for the role of Edna. Though her role didn’t harbour much attention but still paved the path of her acting career. She went on to act in many movies before getting cast for the movie Jeepers Creepers for portraying the role of Jezelle Gay Hartman, a psychic. This movie was the turning point in her career and helped her gain attention for her acting. Before Jeepers Creepers she acted in movies like Clear and Present Danger in 1994, Species in 1995, Lawnmower Man 2: Beyond Cyberspace in 1996, Eye For an Eye in 1996, Message in a Bottle in 1999, Molly in 1999, The Wood in 1999 and Heartbreakers in 2001.

Before her acting career began, she was seen as a contestant on Jeopardy. After her role in the horror movie Jeepers Creepers, she acted in several movies. She was also cast for the role of Millie in (500) Days of Summer in 2009 and this romantic comedy soon became a hit. In 2014, she was again seen in a horror movie The Dark House as Lee Knox, which was directed by Victor Salva who was also her director for Jeepers Creepers. She portrayed small role in many movies which include The Board Room in 2002 where she was cast as Stephens; Spin, Shoot and Run in 2003 as Abagail, I Love your Work in 2003 as Dr. Fein, Cut and Run in 2004 as Roberta, Criminal in 2004 as female bank executive, The Still Life in 2006 as Meter Maid, The Number 23 in 2007 as Dr. Alice Mortimer, Over her Dead Body in 2008 as Helen, Desertion in 2008 as Barbara, Cyrus: Mind of a Serial Killer in 2010 as Maybelle, Walking the Halls in 2012 as Principal Jenkins, Bad Words in 2013 as Ingrid, Sister in 2014 as Miss Thompson to name a few. Her latest movies include The Tiger Hunter in 2015 where she played the role of Sandy, an HR Officer and The Way We Weren’t in 2016 where she was cast as Dr Dietz.

She has also appeared on various Television shows which include the role of a neighbour Mrs Estelle Dabney in the Disney Channel series Good Luck Charlie. She was also cast as Caroline Julian, an attorney in Bones.

She is also known to advertise Staples, American Cancer Society, GEICO and Time Warner. She also voiced the character Chimamanda for a video game Dead Island: Riptide in 2013.

She doesn’t have a husband and has never been married before. There are no reports of any divorce as well. According to her biography, her net worth is around $500 thousand.
