College Football Career at the University of Miami
After graduating high school, Lewis attended the University of Miami, where he played as a linebacker for the Miami Hurricanes. He made an immediate impact, starting the final five games of his freshman season and recording 81 tackles, two sacks, and four pass deflections. During his sophomore year, Lewis earned All-Big East and All-American honors. He led the Big East Conference with 153 tackles and was named a finalist for the Butkus Award, recognizing the nation’s top college linebacker.
