Rebecca Lo Robertson was born on December 17, 1988, in Taipei, Taiwan. She spent her formative years in Taipei before moving to the United States at the age of 16. Upon her arrival, she became an exchange student with the Robertson family and later became part of their household. Although she was never legally adopted, she is considered a foster daughter of Willie and Korie Robertson, stars and producers of the popular reality television series, Duck Dynasty.
Rebecca joined a large family that includes Willie and Korie's biological children—Sadie, Bella, and John Luke—as well as their adopted son, Will. As their eldest foster child, Rebecca played a unique role within the Robertson family dynamic. The family expanded further in 2016 when Willie and Korie adopted another 13-year-old boy.
After completing high school, Rebecca enrolled at Louisiana State University, where she earned a degree in Apparel Design in 2012. Her academic path reflected a lifelong interest in fashion and design. Motivated by her passion, she moved to California after graduation to intern with Hollywood stylists and gained valuable experience working at high-end retail boutiques. She initially worked as a wardrobe stylist in Los Angeles, immersing herself in the fast-paced fashion industry.
Rebecca later returned to Louisiana and leveraged her industry knowledge to co-found a fashion blog called Duck & Dressing with her mother, Korie Robertson. Capitalizing on the success of the blog, she launched a clothing boutique of the same name. In 2014, they expanded the brand to include an online store. Through Duck & Dressing, Rebecca combined her design experience with her family’s media presence to develop a successful fashion business.
