Reece Topley was born in the year 1994 on February 21st in Ipswich. His parents were linked to the sports career as his father Don Topley was a very renowned cricketer who played for Surrey. His uncle, Peter Topley, is also from the cricket background. So as a result, Reece Topley had developed his interest for cricket from a quite early age.

Though he did not devote himself completely into cricket from his early childhood years, he developed a keen interest for cricket when he was eleven years old. Though he had many family links to his career he did not take any such help and achieved success through his hard work and talent. He also works cooperatively with the social organisations and NGOs and also pays several donations every year. Nothing has been known yet about his girlfriend or wife. It may be a fact that he is trying to focus into his career, right now.

Career

 Topley appeared for his first cricket match at the age of fifteen only. In this match, he got an injury by the flat delivery of Kevin Pietersen and was also hospitalised for a day. When he recovered from the injury, during the year 2011 he joined Essex and made his first debut which was against Columbia MCCU. After playing several innings, he finally signed an official contract with Essex.

He also made a debut against Unicorn to finally claim his maiden wicket. Besides excelling in his career as a cricketer, Topley was also pursuing his education from the Royal Hospital School. He took an off from the mid-season cricket match for preparing for his examinations. After completing his examinations, he returned back to play in the under 19 international series, which was hosted against South Africa.

He made such a great start in his career that the ex-captain of England, Michael Vaughan praised his talents and also quoted him as a future test cricketer. After achieving much popularity in the national fields he improved his skills to try his career in the international arena.

In the year 2015, he made his first international debut which was against Australia. He also participated in the four ODI series’ matches against Pakistan and also claimed his first international boundary wickets. He made his appearance in various twenty 20 internationals till his name was registered in the twenty 20 world cup in the England team.

Though later, when he was replaced in the game, he decided to resign from the team. Topley has achieved a lot of popularity in his career and owns a high amount of net worth, though the exact amount has not been mentioned yet. However, Topley has a huge number of fan followers which can be seen in his Instagram account where he posts his recent activities in his life for his followers.
