Rodrigo Junqueira dos Reis Santoro, most popular as Rodrigo Santoro was born in 1975. His mother Maria José is an artist. His father, Francesco Santoro worked as an engineer. While studying journalism at PUC, Rio; he got attracted to acting and tired his luck.

He generally stays away from gossips as maintains low profile off screen. He married his longtime girlfriend Mel Fronckowiak in 2013. She is also an actress and acted in several Brazilian films. Their relation is on really good terms till now as they believe each other. As they are busy in their careers, they didn’t plan for children yet.

Career

From the start of his career, he is acting in Telenovelas and TV serials. He played the main characters in Brazilian Telenovelas O Amor Está no Ar, Suave Veneno, Estrela-Guia, Mulheres Apaixonadas and all of them were received well by audience. His acting as Paulo in the Lost TV serial is heart touching. He also acted in As Brasileiras, Os Normais and entertaining the TV audience from time to time.

The role of Xerxes in the super hit Hollywood movie 300 is the turning point of his film career. He had acted in movies The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Love Actually etc. before playing the villain role in 300. After the release of 300, he became really busy with Hollywood movies and the list of hit movie he acted includes but not limited to The Last Stand, 300: Rise of an Empire, Dominion etc. In his film career, he worked with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Will Smith and several other noted actors.

He looks handsome and he is taller than average American guy. His height is six feet three inches and weighs close to 175 pounds. His dark brown colored distinctive yes are really sharp. He is maintaining the same body figure from the start of his career. He doesn’t like to be in limelight and always maintains low profile once his job is over. He regularly faces media as a part of his movie promotions but never reveals about his personal life.
