Mody is quite private regarding her personal life. Nonetheless, sources have found out that she is dating her co-anchor colleague named Jeff Macke. According to sources, Macke is a long term boyfriend. Macke has been heard saying that he was smitten at the first instance of seeing the gorgeous Seema Mody. Their relationship dates back to the time when Seema was in college.

Her dreams of pursuing her career as television anchor have been always in her mind, but, this does not affect her relationship status with Macke. Previously, Mody was so much engrossed in her work that without work she was not prepared to commit to marriage. Right now, she is completely in the mind and mood, to get hitched with her partner. They both work in the headquarters of CNBC and it appears that nothing can separate them.

Recently, Seema Moody has been tweeting from North Carolina, reporting via social media on the ravages of Hurricane Florence. “It’s not just the coastline...60 miles inland many homeowners…cannot return home due to excessive flooding.” Seema also reported that “Emergency responders are keeping a close eye on Neuse River which is currently 25 feet above flood stage and is expected to crest in the coming days. Til then, homeowners in this neighborhood cannot return home due to excessive flooding #HurricaneFlorence”. 

She also discussed the economic problems associated with the hurricane: “Inland flooding has prevented a number of residents in this town of 21,000 from returning to work.”, and “ Scott Farms sits on 14,000 acres and says 20% of its sweet potato crop is damaged due to #Florence. Can’t harvest because soil is still wet. Longer they wait, the bigger the risk.”

When asked about what she sees as being truly important in life, Seema answers: "What matters is your dedication, passion and willingness to work hard and stand up," Mody said."There will always be an element of fear. But you can decide how much that fear will take over your life."
