Shane West is an American actor and musician. He is basically into Punk rock music and he is also a song writer. He has appeared in various movies and TV Shows. His birthplace is Louisiana. His father, Don Snaith was born in Jamaica and is a drug store owner. His mother, Leah Catherine is a descendent from Cajun French and works as a lawyer. His parents also were musicians and had their own punk bands. He has two sisters, Simone and Marli Ann. Marli Ann is his half-sister. His parents came out of their married life and went ahead with a divorce when he was just 4 years old. He got his interest in punk music from his parents. He also appeared in other movies like “The League of Extraordinary gentleman” and “What we Do Is Secret”. In the League of Extraordinary gentleman, he played the adult version of Tom Sawyer. In “What We Do is Secret”, he played the role of “Darby Crash”, who was a member of a punk band. The other band members were extremely happy with his performance. They re- made the band with him in place of Crash. He also received the award for Rising Star in Film Festival in Philadelphia for the same movie. He was also seen in the role of Michael Bishop in the drama “Nikita” from the year 2010 to 2013. He was the main singer for the band Jonny was. He was part of the band for around 8 years.
