Sharyn Ghidella is known as an Australian newscaster and a television journalist. She is most famous for working at Seven News Brisbane.
Sharyn Ghidella was born in the year 1966. She was raised at Babinda at Far North Queensland. Sharyn completed her graduation in communications during the year 1986 in the Queensland University of Technology at Brisbane. She was the one and the only student to pass the journalism graduation with a distinction grade.
Sharyn Ghidella got married to a freelance cameraman named Paul Croll who has very often worked together with her. They have two children together. The eldest child, Austin was born in the year 2007. The youngest child was born in the year 2010 and they named their daughter, Darcy.
Sharyn Ghidella started her television career as a presenter and as well as a reporter appearing for North Queensland Television, which is now called Network Ten. Later after some time, Ghidella got an opportunity to produce and present a present affairs program called Newsweek. She then migrated to Brisbane for a chance to team up with the News division of the Nine Network.
For the first three years when she spent her time and work at Nine Network, she served as a reporter for National Nine News. She also presented and wrote the hourly news break. During the middle of the 1990’s, Sharyn started to anchor Nine’s Daybreak program that was titled as the National Nine Early News. She grabbed the position from Peter Overton and appeared as the host of National Nine Morning News during the year 2000. Sharyn was moved to share the screen with Mark Ferguson taking over the 6 am newscast.
Sharyn was moved into the news presentation spot where she turned as the regular fill-in anchor on Today serving as a substitute of Tracy Grimshaw or Ian Ross. During the year 2002, while Ross left the program, Sharyn got the opportunity to work as a permanent newscaster. She was the one and only lady host to present the morning newscast in Australia and also she proceeded to host a show in the later days as well. During the year 2005 February, Leila McKinnon took the substitute role of Sheryn appearing on Today. Later on December 1, 2006, Sharyn resigned from Today and Nine Network as she was quite upset for being neglected to take other roles at National Nine News.
Sharyn is quite crazy when it comes to the selection of cars. She is fond of trying out sports cars. Her passion for sports cars made her choose a Toyota Celica before she had children. To her, the Toyota was something quite zippy and of course little sporty as well. She found it very interesting to ride as well. She loves to hang around in a car and also prefers to have small kinds of cars which she could park very easily and comfortably. She is not usually a Maserati or Ferrari type girl, rather she loves to ride something more sporty.
