Currently living in Philadelphia, with her two dogs whom she claims to spend her free time with. Sheena is of mixed descent, with a mix of Persian, German, and Native American. Sheena was born to Mark, a computer programmer, and Sherry, an American real estate employee, on May 23, 1987, in India but was raised on the Gulf Coast of Florida.

Sheena has never indulged information about her childhood or the relationship she has with her parents. As an only child, Sheena was very active, participating in several sports such as football and volleyball later becoming part of her high school’s volleyball team.

With an acute interest and love for space and weather forecast, Sheena enrolled at Florida State University where she studied meteorology graduating with a BA in Meteorology and a minor in mathematics. Later she interned at Tallahassee News after her graduation; she then moved to join WCTV as a journalist, weather forecaster, and reporter.

It was during her time with WCTV where she was most exposed to environment-related news serving as a columnist for their weekend morning show. In 2009 the FOX channel offered her a job through their affiliate WTVT in Tampa, Florida where Sheena made another job switch to become a weather forecaster and columnist. Within no time, Sheena had gained a prestigious promotion earning the position of head weather forecaster where she presented Good Morning Tampa Bay as the on-air meteorologist. In collaboration with the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, Sheena would also host the Sunday Pet Adoption segment Sunday mornings where she would cover pet adoption issues and help promote pet adoption through the Humane Society and like services.

In 2011, after only two years, Sheena left WTVT to join the Philadelphia based NBC 10 as both a meteorologist and weather forecaster and was until relatively recently where she once again and was replaced by Emmy winning meteorologist Tammie Souza from Chicago. After five years, in December 2016, Sheena moved to a position in Washington DC for NBC4. 

Sheena, married to Charlie Sheen, a fellow worker of NBC 10, it is said that they wed in Kabul, Afghanistan. The how the marriage had come to an end remained just as their marriage had been, kept in secret. There are no children from their marriage. Shortly after ending their marriage, she moved to dating  Jamison Uhler, a fellow anchor. Some rumors suggest that she is married to him and currently cohabitating with him in Philadelphia.

There are currently many rumors that Sheena is dating Scott Hartnell according to TalkSports.Net. Scott is an Ice Hockey Player born April 18, 1982, in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Scott grew up in Lloydminster Alberta and now plays the left for the Nashville Predators in the National Hockey League (NHL). He is also known for playing for the Columbus Blue Jackets, Philadelphia Flyers.
