Sonia is a responsible and caring mother of 3 children. The eldest in Jack who is 6 years old, the second one is Harry who is 5 years old and the youngest of all is Nina who is two and half years old. They all live together in Perth at Western Australia.

Sonia started her journalism career in the year 1990 where she became a part of a radio station 6PR at Perth in Australia. Sonia became the prideful youngest lady news director in Australia. While working at 6PR at Perth, Sonia was also a part of Channel Seven. She worked as a journalist there and also she appeared for the Seven News Weekends. Besides this, she also appeared to present the sports news for Seven’s Footy show during the year 1994.

Sonia further became a part of the regional station GWN where she worked as a news presenter prior turning back to 6PR and Channel 9 during the year 2000. Sonia initially served as a substitute news presenter and later in some years she became the weeknight host sharing the screen with Dixie Marshall. She was the best female duo teaming-up to host the news show during the year 2003 – 2007.

During the year 2008, January, Channel Nine announced that Sonia will anchor the program A Current Affair – which is a new Western Australian Version. However, the channel has further declared that Sonia will not continue with the new program position during the month July. Sonia took a break from her regular work in order to spend more time with her family and children. Since her venture in the television arena, Sonia has been ultimately successful and has been serving the media in a better way. She has involved in social activities and many other events that has been a thriving fact for her career success.

Sonia has been a wonderful human who has given her active participation in mental health campaigning. She was the prideful media champion to manoeuvre mental health where she was in-charge to create awareness and confine the stain in the community. Being the most successful women in the television media, Sonia has also been a part of many documentary presentations that portrayed mental health and awareness.
