He is the younger brother of Ryan Breslin and the older brother of actress Abigail Breslin, who garnered critical acclaim for her lead role in the 2006 film Little Miss Sunshine. Breslin began his acting career at the age of three after being discovered at a playground. He quickly landed his first role in a commercial for McDonald's, followed by one for Life Cereal.
