Steve Byers was born on December 13, 1974, in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. He graduated from the Unionville High School with Excellence in Drama and then Steve decided to continue his studies in Film program at the University of Western Ontario. His father was a barber and his mother was a housewife. His parents divorced in his early childhood and his mother had to work in the local school in order to feed her 3 sons (Steve was the middle one).
His first role on a big screen was the role of a spy in “La Femme Nikita” (1997), but unfortunately for Steve, producers didn’t notice his acting talent immediately. It took him 3 more years to get the episodic role of the medical assistant in the sci-fi series “First Wave”. Complex”. Steve Buyer’s most recent jobs are “Rocky Road” (2014), “Gridlocked” (2014), TV shows “The Man in The High Castle” (2015) and “Slasher” (2016). Apparently, Steve is very excited about the “Slasher” – he posts pictures and the most recent news concerning the TV show and the cast.
The actor is married to an actress Jennifer Steed since 2001, but couple doesn’t have any children. Among his hobbies are cooking for his spouse, surfing (actor started to surf during the “Falcon Beach” and he still enjoys it a lot) and videogames. He admits that gaming is probably not the most intellectual thing to do, but it’s very relaxing.
