Steven Strait, born in the year 1986, on March 23rd in Greenwich Village is the second child of his parents, according to his biography, Richard Dyer Strait and Jean (Viscione). He grew up with his elder brother and was always very sound as a child. He was always very intelligent and belonged from half Italian and half English descent. As a child, he went to Xavier High School to receive an education. Later, when in high school, Steven developed an interest towards acting and went to the Stella Adler Studio of Acting to pursue his acting course and receive the required training. Steven was always very handsome as a teenager and had all the qualities, expected from an actor. This factor strengthened his parents’ determination towards him for becoming an actor. Later, he was enrolled at the Village Community School, for taking better acting training.

Strait was married to Lynn Collins from 2007-2013. After a successful married life stint of 6 years, the couple sought a divorce. Steven was spotted with another woman, later, but we don't know for sure if she is his girlfriend.

Career

When Strait was training to be an actor, he began his career as one of the fashion models. As soon as he started his modeling career, he got contracts from several popular magazines and popular brands. The list of photographers he has worked with also seems to be quite impressive. He has also been portrayed as the teen model for the popular magazine, Vogue. He has also been credited a feature for his incredible photoshoot album in the "All-American: Short Stories". Later, he moved to California for building up a successful acting career. He gave his first film audition in California for the film Sky High, which was released in the year 2005. Though his next film Undiscovered did not become much popular among the people, he did not lose hope. It made him focus in his career even in a more determined and organized manner. According to critics, the film could not become a hit because of the storyline and there was no such confusion regarding Steven’s role portrayal on the screen.

The major appearance in the horror thriller, The Covenant, however, gained him huge popularity and also turned out to be the first stair of success in his career. The consecutive years of 2006, 2007 and 2008 kept Steven very indulged in his works. Steven has also not given up on his passion for music and has also been heard to be in some talks with Lakeshore Records to release a full-length music recording a solo album.
