Swatting Incident
On December 22, 2017, STPeach was the victim of a swatting incident while live streaming from her home in the Bankview neighborhood of Calgary. Swatting involves making a false report to emergency services to provoke a large response, often involving armed police. STPeach later described the experience as "terrifying and really scary."

At the time, Barriss was under investigation for a separate swatting incident in Wichita, Kansas, which tragically resulted in the death of Andrew Finch.
