Both Talinda and Chester met through a mutual friend, Ryan Shuck a fellow musician who Chester had played with the band Dead By Sunrise, and started dating on December 31 of 2004. The couple married in 2006 after the finalization of Chester’s divorce to his first wife Samantha Marie Olit in 2005. Talinda during this time had a cyberstalker by the name of Devon Townsend who harassed both of them for almost an entire year. Sent to prison for two years, Townsend was found guilty of tampering with the couple’s emails and sending threatening messages to them.

The couple has three children, Tyler Lee born March 16, 2006, and twins Lila and Lily. Telinda serves as stepmother to Chester’s three children from a previous relationship, son Jaime from his relationship with Elk Brand, his adopted son Isiah and son Draven from his last marriage to Samantha.

Chester died at age 41 on July 20, 2017, by suicide. It was reported he had hung himself. He had returned from seeing his wife and children in Arizona before hanging himself in their Palos Verdes Estate in California. Their housekeeper discovered his body at 9 am. His funeral was held at South Coast Botanic Garden in Palos Verdes, California on July 29. There was only a trace of alcohol in his blood, but at the time of death, there were no drugs present.
