Taylor Jacks Kinney was born on July 15, 1981 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to Pamela and Daniel Kinney. Taylor grew up in Neffsville, Pennsylvania, by his mother after his parents divorced. Taylor Kinney also had three brothers: Adam, Ryan (died at a young age), and Trent Kinney. He says that was a shy and quiet kid. Not very active in other activities, he was into the theatre group and played few roles. He was a good and bright student in class, but instead stayed isolated from others what bothered his teachers sometimes. Taylor graduated from Lancaster Mennonite School in the 2000. Then Kinney studied Business Management and earned a degree in Business Management at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. But Taylor, having studied there for two years, quit his college and went to Hawaii where he lived and worked as a carpenter. During his studying at the university he developed an interest in acting. Upon returning to USA, he decide to realize his acting talents. So, he started to search for some acting jobs and grabbed some opportunities in some minor roles. His first role came in 2006 when he played the role of Luke Gianni in TV show Fashion House, which was aired on by My Network TV.
In 2010, he landed the role of Mason Lockwood on the popular TV show "The Vampire Diaries". Taylor Kinney is probably most famous for appearing on the TV shows Chicago Fire, a drama series that follows the lives of firefighters and paramedics. Kinney plays role of Lieutenant Kelly on Rescue Squad 3 opposite Jesse Spencer. He has also been a guest star on several popular television shows like; “CSI: NY”, “What About Brian”, “Bones”, “Rizzoli & Isles”, “Castle”. Some of his other film credits include: “White Air”, “Furnace”, “Prodigal”, “Least Among Saints”, “Stars in Shorts”, “Zero Dark Thirty”, “The Other Woman”, “Rock the Kasbah”, “The Forest”. In 2012 Kinney appeared on Shameless as Craig, the former high school crush of the lead character Fiona. The others Taylor's works on TV shows: “What About Brian”, “Bones”, “A Mann's World”, “Five”, “Dating Rules from My Future Self”, “Breakout Kings”.
Some of his early work was in the theatre where his credits include: "Fallout" and "A Streetcar Named Desire". In 2012 he starred in a powerful drama about will the lives of eight athletes on the 2004 Olympic Track & Field team, titled "Diary of a Champion".
Kinney’s girlfriend is the famous singer Lady Gaga, they began dating in July 2011. The first meeting of Taylor and Stefani (L. Gaga) was in Nebraska while they working on the music video for her song "You and I", and started dating soon afterwards. Kinney and Stefani became engaged in February 2015, but in July 2016 appeared some rumors, that Taylor and Lady Gaga broke up, this rumors have been confirmed.
