Teri Hatcher 

Teri Lynn Hatcher was born on December 8, 1964 in Palo Alto, California to Esther Beshur and Owen Walker Hatcher. Esther’s relatives are from Syria and Czech. Her mother was a computer programmer, she worked for Lockheed Martin. Her father Owen is of English descent, in the past he was a nuclear physicist and electrical engineer. Teri was raised in Sunnyvale, California. She studied at Mango Junior High school and she also took a ballet lessons at the San Juan School of Dance in Los Altos. Then she enrolled to De Anza College in Cupertino. Teri Hatcher attended the American Conservatory Theater to study acting. Afterwards she also was NFL cheerleader with the San Francisco 49ers football team.

She began her acting career in the earlier 80s, when she got the role on the TV series “The Love Boat” and played a showgirl Amy. The young actress appeared with a minor role of Penny Parker on the television series “MacGyver” for three years. Teri appeared as a guest in “Star Trek: The Next Generation” in the 1988, playing role of Lt. Robinson. In the 1991 she takes a part in the project “Sunday Dinner”, where she played a young lawyer who has relationships with older widowed man. She got her breakthrough role in television series “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman” where she portrayed a Daily Planet reporter Lois Lane from 1993 to 1997. The TV series brought to her a huge level of popularity and her photo-shoot where she was wrapped in a Superman cape that was reportedly the most downloaded image on the Internet averaging 20 thousands downloads each month for a six-month period. ABC channel cancelled “Lois & Clark” in 1997 and Teri appeared in the James Bond movie “Tomorrow Never Dies” playing role of Paris Carver. She appeared in  a number of films such as “Spy Kids” , “Dead in the Water “, “2 Days in the Valley”, A Touch of Fat, Planes and “The Cool Surface”. In the 1996 she appeared along with Alec Baldwin in the movie “Heaven's Prisoners”.


Teri landed the main role of Susan Mayer from popular TV series “Desperate Housewives” from 2004 till 2012. This project gave to her a lot of money, by some sources she earned $285 thousand for each episode of Desperate Housewives. Hatcher made appearences in another Superman project as a guest of the final season of TV series “Smallville” as Ella Lane, the mother of Lois Lane. Teri also is a singer, she sang The Beatles song "Good Night" on the 2006 charity album “Unexpected Dreams”. Currently she is starring the role of Charlotte from the second season along with Mathew Perry and Thomas Lennon in the new sitcom “Odd Couple”. She was married twice. Her first husband was Marcus Leithold, they divorced the following year after married in 1988. In 1994, she married to actor Jon Tenney, but divorced again in 2003. With ex-husband she has one child, a daughter Emerson Rose and Hatcher has a net worth of $50 million dollars.
