The Potter's House

The Potter’s House is renowned for its significant influence and reach, both locally and globally. The church operates from a sprawling 34-acre campus, which includes a 5,000-seat auditorium. The facilities were previously occupied by Eagle’s Nest Church, led by W.V. Grant, before being acquired for The Potter’s House.

Since its founding in 1996, The Potter’s House has experienced considerable growth. Within just two years, the church’s membership expanded from approximately 7,000 to 14,000 congregants as Jakes' teachings gained popularity and national attention. Today, it continues to draw thousands of worshippers and maintains an active media presence, with church services broadcast on multiple television networks and online platforms.

MegaFest and Public Events

One of Jakes’ major public initiatives is the annual MegaFest festival, a multi-day event that features inspirational sessions, entertainment, and faith-based programming. The festival typically draws tens of thousands of attendees. Although some reports have cited figures as high as 300,000 participants, attendance varies by year and is generally estimated at more than 50,000 people for in-person events. MegaFest is recognized as one of the largest faith and family conferences in the United States.
