Thomas Roberts has an astounding career throughout his professional life. He is considered as a talented, as well as dedicated journalist, having superb communication skills. After passing out from Western Maryland College, he started his first job as a reporter for a small cable station in Westminster, Maryland. He soon received a better news anchoring opportunity from WAVY-TV, NBC affiliated, in Portsmouth, Virginia. Ion WAVY-TV, his role was to co-anchor an afternoon news show. This tenure of his professional career gave him the most successful leap and he started getting high popularity.

The biggest venture is so far in his career to join CNN, which is a cable network channel. In the year of 2001, he joined this news company and played a major role as a weekly anchor on CNN Headline News. Presently, he is a freelance report as well as news anchor, working with MSNBC. Apart from his core sector of working, i.e. media and journalism, he also appeared in the latest news Iron Man 3 in a cameo role.
