Timothy Omundson is an American actor who was born on July 29, 1969, in Saint Joseph, Missouri to his father who was a railroad worker and mother who was a teacher. When Omundson was a child, his family moved to Bellevue, Washington where he began studying theater at the age of twelve at the Seattle Children's Theater. When he was thirteen, Omundson traveled Europe with his father visiting countries such as Germany and Austria. He graduated from Washington's Interlake High School in 1987. The summer of his junior year, Omundson traveled to New York City to study at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.
He saw success early on in his acting career and even won Washington State Debate Champion in Dramatic Interpretation two years in a row. After graduating from high school in 1987, Omundson continued his education at the University of Southern California. He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater. He is best known for his role as Sean Potter on CBS's television series "Judging Amy", Eli on the syndicated show "Xena: Warrior Princess", and Carlton Lassiter in "Psych".
