Toni Kroos was born in 1990 in the city of Greifswald, located in the northeastern German state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. He is the elder brother of Felix Kroos, a former professional footballer. Their father, Roland Kroos, is a youth coach for Hansa Rostock. During his early years, Toni was known as a disciplined and dedicated student who invested substantial time in football training. He was well-liked by his classmates and demonstrated exceptional commitment both academically and athletically.
Kroos began his professional career with Bayern Munich, becoming part of the club's first team at a young age. In 2009, at the age of 19, he was loaned to Bayer Leverkusen for 18 months.
