Will Arnett was born and bought up in Toronto. His father Edith Alexander and Emerson James Arnett was a corporate Lawyer by profession. Arnett started his college studies at Lakefield College School at Ontario. Unfortunately, he got dismissed from there after his first semester. He was punished for breaking discipline and for being a troublemaker. Later, he got a chance to attend Theatre Classes at Tarragon Theatre and completed his graduation from Lea side High School. Arnett’s mother motivated him to pursue his career in acting. He gave screen tests for few advertising films in Toronto. Arnett got interested in acting and arrived in New York City, to learn more about acting. He started working in the New York theatre and successfully debuted in the film ‘Erie’.

Will Arnett started acting in films and television show in 1996. His first show was with Lucy Webb and Kevin Pollak, for which did not get positive response. Finally, Arnett’s show got and hike in The Mike O’Malley show. As a tragedy, the show got cancelled after broadcasting two episodes. It was said to be an unlucky year for Arnett, when he didn’t get any work. Later, Arnett came out of his depression, with his friend’s help. Finally, his career zoomed ahead when CBS sitcom ‘Still Standing’, turned to be a hit and was on air for many seasons. Somehow, this did not last for a long time and Arnett was back again, at the place he started from. The journey of his career went on smooth track after he got to work in Arrested Development, which helped him getting a lot of roles in feature films. Arnett use to play dramatic roles, but after he worked as a comic actor, it was appreciated by public. This gave Arnett, the title of comedian.

Arnett married actress Penelope Ann Miller, in 1994. However, unfortunately, they divorced within a year. He, later, dated Missey Yager and they had an affair for four years, during which they lived together. They acted together in a show, but before the show started, they broke up their relationship. When Arnett came to New York, he and Amy Poehler started seeing each other. After two years, they got married. The husband-wife also acted together in many shows as co-actors. Arnett and Poehler have two sons. A New York Magazine gave them the title of “New Yorkers of the Year”. Later, they got separated in September 2012 and to get a legal separation, Arnett filed divorce in April.

It was shocking news for everyone to know that Arnett and Poheler got divorced. Arnett started seeing, secretly, Billy Joel’s ex-wife, Katie Lee Joel. However, Arnett’s new girlfriend is not comfortable in accepting the responsibility of two kids. Katie Lee does not have children, and therefore, she is not good in taking up a mother’s role.
