Yetide Badaki bio

Yetide Badaki is an American-Nigerian actress who was born in Ibadan, Nigeria on September 24, 1981. She moved to England with her family when she was three-years-old where she lived for three years before moving to America at age 12. Badaki graduated from McGill University with a major in English Literature and a minor in Environmental Science. She also earned a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre from Illinois State University.

Badaki became a full-fledged American citizen in 2014. She has appeared on numerous hit American television shows such as "Lost", "Criminal Minds", "Masters of Sex", "NCIS: New Orleans", and most recently, "This Is Us". Badaki also ventured into theater earning herself a Jeff Award in 2006 for Best Actress in a Principal Role in the play "I Have Before Me a Remarkable Document Given to Me by a Young Lady from Rwanda".

Most recently, Badaki wrote a short film called "Hollywoodland" which she crowdfunded with IndieGoGo. She will also co-produce and star in the short film which will be directed by Jessica Sherif.
