Wallin basically has Swedish origin and she was born and raised at Wadena in Saskatchewan. She spent most her time at Wadena and did her higher secondary schooling at Moose Jaw. Wallin did her graduation in psychology and political science at the University of Saskatchewan in Regina Campus which is now termed as the University of Regina. She gave her successful venture as an officer working at the Saskatchewan Federal Penitentiary.
