Harry Smith is an American television journalist who has worked as a senior correspondent for NBC News, MSNBC, and CNBC. He hosted the CBS News morning shows The Early Show and its predecessor, CBS This Morning, for seventeen years. Smith departed CBS News in July 2011 to work as a correspondent for NBC News and the now-defunct newsmagazine Rock Center with Brian Williams.
