He was born in Chicago and she served her country while he was in U.S Marine Corps for seven years and afterwards, he joined Chicago Police Department. He worked at 14th District in Chicago where he had to keep it safe and he was moonlighting in his off hours at television. He retired from police force in the year 2001 and he is now devoted to his show and his family full time. Before he got his own show, he was the fill in host of Jerry Springer for The Jerry Springer Show.
