Aaron Paul Sturtevant was born on August 27, 1979 in Emmett, Idaho. He was born as Aaron Paul Sturtevant to Darla and Robert Sturtevant. His father is a retired Baptist priest. As a youngster, he started partaking in the house of prayer plays. A short time later, when he was in eighth grade, he enrolled in the performance center of his school and started a passion for the acting profession. He graduated from Centennial High School in Boise, Idaho, in 1998. Even before graduating, he imagined moving to Los Angeles and thought of ways to earn money to make his big move. After graduating, he moved to LA with his mother in his '82 Toyota Corolla, with the $6,000 he had saved.
Paul set off in the acting world with a talent scout after winning the runner up spot for the International Modeling and Talent Association. During this time, he also worked as an attendant at the Universal Studios Movie Theater in Hollywood. He continued appearing in commercials and two music videos for Korn's tune "Careless" and the Everlast song 'White Trash Beautiful'.
His huge break came in 2007 when he was tossed in a repeating part in the HBO show 'Big Love'. He played Scott Quitman, the life partner of Sarah Hendrickson, played by Amanda Seyfried. In 2008, he got an amazing part when he was given a role as Jesse Pinkman on the AMC show 'Breaking Bad'. In the wake of giving it a shot, he had his doubts about whether he would get the part and whether the show would go on air. His character was originally written to die in the first season but his performance forced the creators to keep him on the show.
After his prosperity on TV, he moved back to the big screen and acted in the film "Crushed" in 2012. In 2014, he appeared in the movie 'Need for Speed' as a fierce street racer that was released from prison. That year, he also featured near Christian Bale in Ridley Scott's scriptural epic 'Exodus: Gods and Kings'.
In September 2019, a trailer was released for the new Breaking Bad film called El Camino that will be released on Netflix in October 2019.
