She was taken under the wing of wunderkind producer Andrew Loog Oldham, the man behind the Rolling Stones and a host of British young singers, including Marianne Faithfull, Barry St John, and Vashti.

Posta's debut single, Only Fifteen was released in 1963 and hyped her young aura. Oldham convinced Mick Jagger and Keith Richards to give Adrienne a track they had written, Shang a doo lang, as her subsequent single, released in March 1964. The relationship with The Rolling Stones was relied upon to surrender her a bunk into the higher scopes of the charts. Tragically, it wasn't to be, however she was promoted into the top positions of London's party scene.
