Alan Tudyk was born on 16th of March 1971 in a large city on the West of Texas – El Paso. Soon after his birth, his family took him to Plano - small city near Dallas where he spent his childhood. He was the only child in his family. Alan Tudyk has Polish, Scottish, German and English descent. From his early ages, Alan wanted to be an actor. His parents, Timothy Tudyk and Betty Loyce adored him so much and always encouraged him to pursue his dream.

In Plano Alan Tudyk entered in Plano Senior High School. While studying, he tried himself as a comedy actor on stand-up show. However, during one of his performances, some member from the audience interrupted him. This person started to threaten Alan Tudyk with strict warnings of killing. After this depressive episode, Alan stopped his stand-up performances forever.

When he finished High School, Alan moved to Jacksonville, where he attended Lon Morris College. At College Tudyk successfully studied drama, and for his talent he won Academic Excellence award. After college, he entered to Juilliard but he did not finish his education there and quit without any degree.

With good background and experience on acting field, Alan Tudyk without much effort constantly received invitations to play in different films and TV series. One of his noticeable jobs was the role of Hoban Washburne in a science fiction drama TV series Firefly. This series came on TV only with one season, because Universal Pictures bought the rights and made a film with the title Serenity. Alan did not lose his role and appeared in Serenity representing the same character.

Firefly was not his only experience on TV. He has a long list of TV series in his CV, including Dollhouse where he played Alpha, V, Newsreaders, Good Vibes, Young Justice and many others. From 2011 to 2014, Alan Tudyk joined new sitcom on ABC – Suburgatory where he had a role of Dr. Noah Werner. At this time, Alan started TV series Con Man. This series was totally built upon his own efforts. He was the creator, writer, director and actor in this comedy series.

His career in films was even more exciting as his TV roles. Alan, along with Sandra Bullock played in comedy-drama film 28 days. He also appeared as a doctor in western 3:10 to Yuma with such stars like Christian Bale and Russell Crowe. Tucker & Dale vs. Evil, DodgeBall: A True Underdog Story, A Knight's Tale – this is very short list of all his works.
