His career

Moving from his early biography to his career, he started playing music with his band mate Jack Barakat in the year 2002.Later, the two found the band, "All Time Low", in the year 2003. Zack Merrick and Rian Dawson were two more members of the popular band. The band then signed a contract with "Emerald Moon Records", in the year 2004 and released their debut EP known as "The words to remember in dealing with the end". 2005 proved to be a fruitful year for the band, when they released their debut studio album known as "The Party Scene," later in the year 2007-08 the band released a platinum single "Dear Maria, count me in", The band's second studio album released "So Wrong, It's Right," released in 2007. "Nothing Personal" was the band's third album and that released in the year 2009."All Time Low" signed with "Interscope Records", in 2011, and their fourth album "Dirty Work" released right after.

2012, lead to the re-signing of a contract with “Hopeless Record,” and then their 5th studio album “Don’t Panic” released. On the 7th of April 2015, “Future hearts” their sixth studio album released. This album was a massive hit and grabbed the 2nd spot on Billboard Hot 200 Album charts. More than 75,000 copies of the album were sold in the very first week, leading to the further popularity of the band. Gaskarth as the songwriter played a crucial role, in the success of the band, and wrote most the songs, and even sung many of them. Apart from his contribution to "All Time Low" Alex, has written songs for albums of other bands as well, some of them being "5 Seconds of summer", "McBusted", "Simple Plan", etc. In 2013, he was the host of the podcast Full Frontal and was joined by Jack Barakat in this endeavor.

Personal Life

Gaskarth was engaged to longtime girlfriend, Lisa Ruocco, and later married her on the 9th of April 2016. The musician's vocal style is Tenor and vocal range happens to be from A2 to C#5. He has been influenced by a number of rock and pop punk bands; some of them are "Linkin Park", "Creed", "NOFX", "New Found Glory", etc. He has a number of tattoos all over his body. His first tattoo was a skeleton, and then he went on to make a red rose tattoo. One of his tattoos is a tribute to his older half-brother Tom, who passed away when they were children. Gaskarth has definitely been a huge influence on all those who wish to be songwriters for bands.
