Ana Kasparian is the producer and co-host of The Young Turks show. She is the main anchor of the show ‘The Point’, which is one of the first shows to be funded by YouTube. She is also a writer for Examiner.com and works as the National Politics in Education reporter at the site.
Born in July 7, 1986, in Los Angeles California, Anahit Misak Kasparian was raised in Reseda community in San Fernando Valley. Her parents are of Armenian descent. She finished her high school studies at the Valley Alternative Magnet High School located in Van Nuys in the year 2004. She studied in the California state University located in Northridge, where she received her Bachelor degree in Arts, Journalism. She also completed her masters in Political science at the California State University. She started working for The Young Turks in 2007 at the age of 20. She loves the work of George Orwell.
Kasparian initially worked as assistant producer at CBS Radio news stations situated in Los Angeles, namely KFWB and KNX. She also served as reporter for AOL News, Tidal TV, YouTube, and On Point. She also appears on the English version of RT Channel and RT America. Starting initially as fill-in anchor in 2007, Kasparian moved on to become the producer and co-anchor along with Cenk Uygur in the Sirius XM Satellite Radio, which is a progressive talk radio and also at the online show ‘The Young Turks’. She has also worked on the television version of The Young Turks show that is telecast on Current TV. The Young Turks show is one of the largest online news shows at the international level. It covers politics, economics, social trends, lifestyle, and pop culture.
Ana Kasparian also works on the show ‘The Point’, which is part of the Townsquare channel of TYT Network and funded by YouTube. It is a popular long format issues discussion program that covers many important occurrences.
