In 2008, she played the character of Renee Jensen in the movie The Grand. During the same year, she also played in the movie Step Brothers in the role of Denise. In 2009, she worked for the movie I Love You, Beth Cooper, playing a character of the doctor called Dr. Gleason. In the same year, she also got the chance to work in a short video called as Lashisse. In 2010, she played the role of Robin for the movie Dinner for Schmucks. Andrea was seen on some other movies too including the film L!fe Happens as Patti in the year 2011 and in a short video called the Get in My Vagina in the year 2012. In the year 1995, she has worked in the short film Song of the Sea playing the character of Gertie Fitzpatrick. She has also played the character of Alyssa in the year 2013 for the movie You're Not You and as Naomi in the movie Sleeping with Other People during the year 2015. Andrea also has an experience of working as Laura in the film The House.

She has worked on several television shows. In the year 2011, she was seen in the episode Modern Family as Holly. In the same year she was seen the television program The Life & Times of Tim playing the character of a Nurse. In the year 2012, Andrea got a chance to work in the three episodes of The Life & Times of Tim playing the role of Julie. In 2012, she also got to play in several other television programs including American Judy as Gail, in the show House of Lies as Brenda and in the series Rebounding as Amanda. Between the years 2012 till 2014, she played the role of Gail for the program The League. She had acted in only two episodes of The League. In 2012, she got popular in the role of Dr. Valerie Vesser in the program Newsreaders. She was also seen playing the character of Julie Francois in the Kroll Show in 2014. Again during the same year, Andrea got chance to work for the show American Dad! Sex Ed, where she played the role of a Teacher and also on the series The Hotwives of Orlando as Veronica Von Vandervon. In the year 2015, she was also seen in the episodes of Helen Basch and in the Comedy Bang! Bang! Show as well as on the The Hotwives of Las Vegas series. She never stopped with her roles and in 2016, she was again seen in the show iZombie playing the role of Vivian Stoll and as Senator Laura Montez for the series Veep.
